B J Copestick jewellers is an established family business founded by Bruce Copestick in 1991. Prior to opening the business , Bruce worked for Asprey of Bond Street in London where he gained experience in all areas of the jewellery trade. It was from here that he gained several trade qualifications including the retail jewellers diploma, fellowship of the gemmological association and fellowship of the diamond grading association.
The shop offers a full jewellery repair service carried out by fully qualified goldsmiths and jewellery valuations for insurance and probate are carried out by an NAG registered valuer once a week. Bruce says this is a particularly popular service as clients like the idea of having the jewellery back on the same day. Alternatively,a home visit can be arranged if the client feels this is more convenient.
The shop also offers a custom made service where a piece of jewellery can be made to our clients specifications. This often involves producing sketches at the outset and then creating a 3 dimensional model of the piece in the form of a wax model for the client to view before being made.
